BRIEF:
Develop a project that reflects your own creative interest, strengths and integrity.
SOLUTION:
Designed a book that is based on my direct family lineage and refers to the idea that over the years my family has been able to grow in an area that was originally called “Nomansland”.
Defined as “land or area that is unowned, uninhabited, or undesirable”, the book tells the lives of four (4) men who have been able to make something out of the land, a living and a foundation for the rest of the family.
Pieces of my life has been told through their lives, as I have been given the opportunity to follow in the footsteps of my ancestors who walked across the same land that I live on.
The book was produced together with a handmade wooden cabinet that held historical items belonging to the four men.
